The dates for next years most important event are set: The Norwegian Solar Cell Conference will take place on May 19th - May 20th 2026

FME SOLAR and Fornybar Norge gave a peak view into the roadmap for the Norwegian PV Industry at Arendalsuka this week.

FME SOLAR is contributing to Arendalsuka at two events this year; on combining utility-scale PV power plants with food production (agri-PV), and on the internationally oriented domestic PV industry.

A team lead by Tore Sandnes Vehus from UiA, supported by WP7 colleagues from NTNU, UiO, NMBU and IFE, received a 2.8MNOK grant from the Norwegian Directorate of Higher Education and Skills to develop two flexible courses in collaboration with stakeholders/industry that can be undertaken alongside regular work.

FME SOLAR participates in the Centres for Environment-friendly Energy Research (FME) Conference which takes place at Scandic Lerkendal in Trondheim on April 3rd. The conference is free and open to all, and will also be available as live streaming.

The launch of the Norwegian PV Research Centre, FME SOLAR was marked by a kick-off meeting at Quality Hotel Olavsgaard on September 17th, 2024. The talks from the day gave a glimpse of the work and expectations from the centre in the years to come.
