Roadmap for the Norwegian PV Industry

FME SOLAR and Fornybar Norge gave a peak view into the roadmap for the Norwegian PV Industry at Arendalsuka this week.

FME SOLAR is currently developing a roadmap for the Norwegian PV industry in collaboration with Renewables Norway, which will be launched in its entirety later this fall.

A first version of the chapter addressing the opportunities for an internationally oriented PV industry was presented and discussed in an event at Arendalsuka, involving FME SOLAR, Renewables Norway, Multiconsult, Norfund and Scatec.

You can find and read the chapter here:

Internationally oriented PV report

The presentation was followed by a discussion with Erik Stensrud Marstein (IFE/FME SOLAR), Enja Sæthren (Scatec), Ylva Lindberg (Norfund), Bård Vegard Solhjell (Fornybar Norge) and Trine Kopstad Berentsen (Fornybar Norge).

The domestic PV industry is already the second largest renewable energy industry segment measured by exports and international activity. The room for further growth and value creation is very large, as long as the companies stay competitive and innovative.
