FME SUSOLTECH has been in operation from 2017 until 2025 and has played a very important role for the Norwegian PV research community for close to a decade.

The report shows that FME SUSOLTECH has been a very productive centre. The centre work has among other things resulted in the following:

  • Close to 1000 publications and presentations
  • 143 articles in international scientific journals

  • 91 MSc students
  • A substantial volume of research, development and innovation projects both in Norway and the EU

In addition, the FME SUSOLTECH user partners have made important contributions by enabling a large volume of renewable electricity production and value creation. A few highlights in this regard are described in more detail in the newly published report "Effekter av energiforskningen" The PV industry is making a huge difference today and is leading the green transition globally.

We are very grateful to all centre partners and the The Research Council of Norway for their commitment, hard work and support, all of which were required for us to reach these impressive results.

Our collaboration continues in the newly established Norwegian PV research centre (FME SOLAR). We look forward to 8 more years of good and fruitful collaboration!
